From its inaugural flight to Cairo with five DC-3 aircraft in 1946 to a current fleet of over 160 aircraft covering more than 145 destinations worldwide, Ethiopian Airlines has embodied the pioneering spirit of African aviation through 80 years of steady development.

Founded in 1946, Ethiopian Airlines has grown steadily for eight decades in the aviation industry and achieved scalable and global development.

起步之初，品牌依托5架道格拉斯C-47飞机开启民航业务，打通亚的斯亚贝巴—阿斯马拉—开罗的首批航线，迈出全球化布局的第一步。

In its early days, the airline launched civil aviation operations with five Douglas C-47 aircraft, opening its first route connecting Addis Ababa, Asmara and Cairo, marking the first step of its global layout.

历经多年深耕，埃航成功加入星空联盟，通航范围覆盖全球多数国家及地区，机队配置包含波音787、空客A350等主流优质机型，整体机龄约7年，机队状态优良、运营体系成熟。

After years of steady development, Ethiopian Airlines has joined the Star Alliance. Its network spans most countries and regions worldwide. The airline operates a modern fleet featuring mainstream aircraft including Boeing 787s and Airbus A350s, with an average fleet age of approximately seven years, delivering reliable aircraft conditions and a mature operational system.

在中国市场布局方面，埃航深耕中国市场超50年，货运网络覆盖广州、成都、乌鲁木齐、香港等11座核心城市，每周常态化运营83班以上中非往返航班，是空中丝绸之路建设中不可或缺的核心运力主体，持续助力中非跨境物流与经贸流通。

With over 50 years of footprint in the Chinese market, Ethiopian Airlines covers 11 core cities including Guangzhou, Chengdu, Urumqi and Hong Kong through its comprehensive cargo network. It operates more than 83 regular weekly round-trip flights between China and Africa. As a key capacity provider for the Air Silk Road, the airline continuously facilitates cross-border logistics and bilateral trade flows between China and Africa.
